Teacher Experience: What's New - Subjects/Grades
Here the user can refine the list of featured resources by selecting particular subject, grades, and topics. When a user initially registers for the site, they declare a preferred subject, grade, and topic interest – these declarations show up as default every time the user toggles to the subject/grade selection. The user is then after free to further explore resources beyond their original interest levels. The list of available topic check boxes is dependent on selections made for subject and grade. Ideally we do not have to refresh the page when these selections are changed – with the featured items listed through a fade in / fade out ajax tool. Users are free to use pagnation at the bottom with ideally ten listings featured at one time (in order to neatly process and display data). Like on any output displayed on many places of the website, teachers can drag and drop the resource icons from right to the boxes on the left to either post them on a classroom page, schedule them to be posted on a classroom page on a day in the future, save them in a folder, or forward them to an individual colleague, parent, or student.
